Objects - THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE SUFFERING A LEGAL RESTRICTION ON THEIR LIBERTY IN ANY PENAL OR CORRECTIONAL ESTABLISHMENT AND WHO CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR LEGAL ADVICE BY THE PROVISION OF FREE LEGAL HELP AND ADVICE TO ASSIST SUCH PERSONS IN HAVING THEIR CONVICTION AND SENTENCE REVIEWED.
It soon became no secret that trainee lawyers at City Law School were key to the management of the Charity and as such, were vulnerable to being 'tapped up' by the secret services and reveal information on the organisation to those in the shadows.
There was a growing interest in JA which was upsetting the proverbial government 'apple-cart' and those with similar interests.; not least, The Innocence Project. To name but one.
With over 200 Criminal Appeal Cases coming in, not least from JENGbA (Joint Enterprise Not Guilty by Association) who (then) had no means of reviewing criminal cases - JA retained and extended it's growing interest from funders and senior counsel alike.
So much so, that Darren Bolger was called to the offices of Irwin Mitchell in Chancery Lane, to meet with Sir Michael Napier CBE QC, Sir Robin Knowles CBE and Kate Walmsley (Corporate Responsibility Representative at the Law Society).
Mr. Napier was buzzing around the room whilst the two others waited for the reply...
'Mr. Bolger' Began Mr. Napier. 'I have been contacted by the pro bono envoy with concern that you may have an agenda, whilst holding great power, and would like to understand what you intend to do with such power?
What I mean is, on the one hand you are training, assisting the careers and supporting future barristers and Judges. Whilst on the other hand, you are highly respected and valued in the criminal underworld, assisting the appeals of serious criminals. What are you to do with such power, Mr. Bolger?'
"Bring Justice to those who have none" was Darren's reply.
JENGbA (Joint Enterprise Not Guilty by Association) was introduced to Darren Bolger at The Edgar Wallace Pub in Essex Street London during one of JENGbA's 'events'. JENGbA was led by, Mrs Gloria Morrison.
JENGbA made reference to one of their previous supporters named, Mr. Kevin Craigie. Kevin was in communication with JA and introduced JA to Mr. Paul Cleeland who had spent 27 years behind bars for the (alleged) murder of a North London gangland rival drug dealer.
Once the Police had infiltrated JA via its City Law supporters, and receptionist, Wendy Brown, Darren handed over the keys to JA when facing Fraud Charges to protect the Charity. JA was then run by both Kevin Craigie and Paul Cleeland, who immediately returned to assist JENGbA before changing JA's Objects to satisfy their desire to change the law of joint enterprise.
JENGbA used the 'key evidence' obtained by Justice on Appeal in order to overturn the law on Joint Enterprise.
Objects changed to - Provide free, confidential, impartial and independent advice, assistance and advocacy to prisoners maintaining they are not guilty of the index crime. Networking with Lawyers and interested Members of Parliament and House of Lords Educate interested parties concerning the Law of Joint Enterprise. Submitting evidence reports to relevant organisations and bodies when required
Olympus Europe had been funding JENGbA and attempting to develop visual forensic apparatus to assist with the Jordan Cunliffe case. The visual tool for forensic case review would have created an extensive revenue for Olympus who wanted to remain under the proverbial radar whilst developing and creating a 'case' study' for their new Forensic Tool.
JA did not require the assistance of the Olympus Tool as it had realised key evidence, relating to the fatal blow of the deceased. This new evidence was ignored by JENGbA in preference in concentrating on the visual evidence which would have enhanced Olympus status in the forensic evidence markets of criminal law and retaining ongoing funding for the Joint Enterprise Organisation (entity).
Olympus Europe was so impressed with the insights into real evidence that they still retained the necessity for their Forensic Tool but with interest and belief that is would be JA who would be better placed to assist them with delivering a real case study and release of their product.
Olympus donated £7,500 to JA and promised to increase this in the future. This was agreed and signed off at a meeting in the board room at JA offices in Putney Bridge London SW15 with all key individuals from both sides in attendance.
Darren was introduced to ex-police officers by an infamous, North London based, Armed Robber, who was serving at HMP Latchmere House in Ham, Surrey. This was prior to Darren's Fraud Trial and whilst his two brother were still serving life sentences.
Upon meeting with both, Kevin Everard and David Morris of Specialist Intervention Providers (SIPS), Darren was asked to assist the head of SO15 - Counter Terrorism Communications, Intelligence & Operational Coordinator.
Darren met with Police Sgt. Paul Barrie of SO15 at the Empress Building in Earls Court to discuss the new limb of the Anti-Terrorism Branch, named: The Channel Project (AKA - Channel Duty Guidance: Protecting people vulnerable to being drawn into terrorism).
Darren said that he would be happy to assist in deterring potential Terrorists by giving them training and a job and left it there.
Darren was also invited by Kevin Everard and David Morris of SIPS (Specialist Intervention Providers) - to meet with Mr. Kevin Jenkins OBE of Community Links Project in Canning Town as Darren was promoting his new Apprenticeship Initiative, Here, Here and Here.
Darren was trusted by all types of people who were simply looking for justice and having no one to turn to, they contacted Darren and JA. This began with convicted criminals on serious violence and drug cases and once the word had spread of the level of fight in Darren for Justice, and that JA was not controlled by the Government nor their connections.
JA worked with, Ross Patel who is the Director of Forensic Science at independent expert witness and investigations practice - Afentis Forensics. A forensic consultant listed on the ‘UK Register of Expert Witnesses’ (Law Society / Sweet & Maxwell) and vetted member of the ‘Expert Witness Institute’ and ‘Academy of Experts’. An independent expert, with a higher duty to the Court, he produces expert reports for both the defence and prosecution and is regularly instructed in the most serious criminal matters on the circuit.
Darren was also contacted by Julian Panayiotou founder of the police whistle blower organisation, ISPG (Independent Police Support Group) with a request for the protection of two police officers.
At the same time, Darren was contacted by Mr Les Balkwell in their fights for relative justice.
JA was contacted by some of the highest levels of Police and Government and was introduced (by one of Britain's most notable and notorious Armed Robbers) to David Morris and Kevin Everard who were both, previously, Metropolitan and Essex Police Officers (respectively) before becoming Directors of Specialist Intervention Providers.
Darren told Julian that JA was a defence led organisation with interests in miscarriages of justice rather than prosecution cases. No assistance was available although the information given was of interest before it's review and immediate - destruction.
Darren was then asked to meet with an alleged ex-North London Gangland Boss (Paul Cleeland). He served 26 years for the murder of Terry Clarke in Hertfordshire in 1972.
Darren was asked to bring a 'film crew' as Paul wanted to deliver a message of his case to Justice on Appeal Trainees and look to overturn his appeal. Even though his lawyer at the same time was the highly regarded criminal defence lawyer, Mr. Edward Fitzgerald QC.
Darren brought four JA Trainees to the meeting so that they could experience (first-hand) how someone of this experience would explain their case and they could interact and form an opinion for guidance pre-review.
JA was simply becoming far too interesting to law students and seasoned barristers alike. Added to this, was those with interests in their own legal entities who were losing face and interest in equal measures.
Irrespective of the shadows attempts to destroy Darren, and it later discovered (upon disclosure of the referred - 2,000 emails - in 2012) that the MET Police were in communication with the Charities Commission 'intent' to close Justice on Appeal.
Darren's family history pared with the interests of JA made Justice on Appeal far too powerful whilst not controlled by the system itself. Even if that system was unjust and steered and focused towards self importance and control.
With too many bloody noses and bites from all sides, the CCRC also attempted to stop Darren with their nonsensical claims of harassment (resulting in NFA) and then the final punch, a fabricated case of fraud that eventually stopped Darren. (well... for a little while)
It was time to save the Charity by placing it into the hands of others with interests thought to be aligned with Justice and yet, were in fact even more aligned to JENGbA and those within the shadows.
Some may think or want to allege that Darren had changed sides, as it is an easy attack, and or was working for both sides. Darren has always upheld the same line and was more intrigued as to who and how these introductions with the Police were coming about. He joined into the meetings to see who in the criminal underworld were leasing with the police so that he manage any future introductions and attacks against him and his family. The introduction to SO15 (via the police) by an armed robber from North London, just too interesting to leave.
In case you have any thoughts of Darren joining-up with the 'other-people' (Police) and after all of the above had occurred within two years, Darren was falsely arrested for harassment by the Criminal Cases Review Commission, Convicted and served a custodial sentence for fabricated fraud case, whilst his brothers continued to serve their fabricated Murder Case.
The Three Bolger Brother's, all served every day of their respective sentences.
No deals done - even though the opportunities were being presented to The Bolger's.
